Your Library PIN
With a library card and
PIN, from the library or from your home or office computer you can:
- Check your borrowing/circulation
record
- See what you have checked out, and
when items are due
- See if you owe any money
- Place reserves (Lombard cardholders
only)
- See which reserved titles are ready
to be picked up
- Access selected reference databases
To establish a PIN (personal
identification number), if you do not already have a valid Helen Plum
Library Card, you must first visit the Library in order to obtain a
library card.
- Once you have a valid Helen Plum Library
Card, you may establish your PIN by using the "View
your circulation record" in the text based catalog in the
library or "Personal
Information/My Library Account" choices in the web catalog
which can be accessed from home.
- Your PIN can be up to 30 characters
in length, and is NOT case sensitive.
- When entering your PIN for
the first time, you will be instructed to enter it a second time
to verify your PIN.
- If you have forgotten your PIN,
you will need to visit the library in person in order to have it
changed.
- If you want to change your PIN,
you can do this from home, or in the library.
